Thinking...

I have been thinking alot recently about last year...

It is so hard to imagine Scotty and I have been married almost a full year!!! It really only feels like a couple months at best.

This time last year, I was attending dress fittings, bridal showers and fretting about all the money being spent on the wedding. lol

However, when I look back on our wedding day....everything was perfect. Neither Scotty nor I would change one thing. I still look at the pictures and love all the dresses, the location...everything...but, most of all...I remember walking down the aisle and only seeing him.

To continue on the updates...

Mason Edward Hutchins was born Sunday, July 26th at 8:33pm.
He weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 20 inches long.

I was blessed to be able to be with Kristy in the hospital during the day as she labored and Mason was born healthy and well, so the doctors let him stay in the room as her husband welcomed us back into the room for a quick peek! What a joy!!!

***more pics to come for sure***

My Sweet Kristy...

So, as I have been out-of-touch....I have not taken time to post some fun and important pictures of my very best friend! Kristy became pregnant with her 4th baby around October '08.

I wanted to throw her a baby shower since her family had done that for her for previous babies, but I never really took inititative to do it. So....

Here were the plates/napkins. You can see the little bottle party favors on the table too.

Here is the banner I got from the cutest website!

And...the diaper cake with over 200 diapers!

Finally, the cake table. A baker in Friendswood made the cake to match the invitations perfectly and I found a recipe for blue punch. It was sooo yummy!

We had such a great time at the shower. I was thankful to have so many of her relatives helping to ensure all the food was prepared and our friend, Ann From, to ensure everything set-up on time.

Wow...Sorry!

I certainly have not update my blog in quite some time. First, I really didn't believe anyone remember to read this thing, but then my sweet friend Ashley reminded me she checks if periodically for updates since we live so far away.

Even if this is all for Mrs. Fithian... :) It's well worth it!

So..........let's do a little catch-up my friends..........
